This blog is about a personal journey of healing. The hearts are many that have been tragically effected by an unexpected loss. It creates such an obstacle in our life if we let it. One way we can make a better transition is to look forward with hope while slowly but surely taking one day at a time.
The question that is often left behind when someone close to us dies is WHY? After the recent suicide of my father I have asked this question allot. Life is a strange but wonderful journey that has many peaks and valleys. I try to find peace knowing that someday I will have this answer. It may not be in this lifetime but I do feel that we all will get the answers we are searching for eventually.
I hope that you will share your heart here and feel safe that you are not alone. Forgiveness is something that has made quite the topic lately in my mind. I am still wrapping myself around this feeling but allowing for now a time to be angry. It is part of the process if I listen to those who have traveled this road before me. They say also time is a friend and I look forward to that time passing as I am willing to take my first steps towards healing.
May your days find peace and resolve in whatever it is that you are dealing with. My your heart find a way to keep loving even when it sometimes hurts so deep you can hardly breath. And, may each of us learn to not only forgive those who have hurt us deeply but also forgive ourselves for not being perfect.
I look forward to hearing your words and listening to your heart.
